Thank you kindly for your invitation to [...name of event...]. While I am interested in the topic and would very much welcome the opportunity to [...attend/present...], I notice that there is a lack of diversity in the faculty for the current agenda.

As I'm sure you are aware, the continuing medical education that we create and receive should reflect the diversity that exists in our medical community, as that will enrich and enhance the learning experience. I am committed to being part of the solution, and have taken the MedEd Pledge (www.themededpledge.com) which encourages all stakeholders to participate in improving diversity & inclusion in CME.

Therefore, I would be happy to [...attend/present...] if the current proposed agenda can be modified to increase diversity. If desired, I can suggest some names of colleagues in the field who would be appropriate to add to further enhance the faculty.
